EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is committed to providing educational opportunities to garden visitors of all ages and abilities through clear and innovative interpretation and supporting programs. The Gardens' Education Programs serve the Rocky Mountain community and its visitors by achieving the following goals and objectives:

  • To excite and educate children and adults of all abilities about high-elevation plants and ecology in the gardens.
  • To support learning by providing interesting and effective garden interpretation and facilities.
  • To inspire environmental appreciation through public hikes relating a variety of botanic information.
  • To provide a unique and significant alpine botanical resource to professionals and laypersons through extensive public plant data.
